Abstract |
Residents are affected by all noises heard in the region where more than two kinds of noises exist. However the noises are not considered at the same time for the measurement and evaluation, and only individual noise is measured and evaluated independently. This causes difficulties in seeing the relationship between multiple noise sources and residents' responses. That's why new measurement and evaluation method must be set up for analyzing residents' response objectively against noise, by making it clear the relationship among various methods or by applying new method that could evaluate multiple noise sources. In this study measurement and evaluation were performed, using a number of evaluation methods which are being used in some country, in order to develop new method applicable to different kinds of transportation noise. Measurement place is where aircraft noise, railway noise and road traffic noise are separated or combined. A couple of evaluation method based on equivalent noise level(Leq) are selected and applied to evaluate combined noise and the values are analyzed comparing with the other kinds of method. In conclusion, Leq and LAeq,16h(07-23), Ldn, LDEN resulted to have high correlation with those for each transportation noise, showing the possibility to develop new evaluation method for various kinds of noise. |
