Abstract |
Unstiffened steel plate shear panels are designed considering the shear buckling strength or the post buckling strength by tension field action. Experimental study was performed previously to investigate structural characteristics of unstiffened steel plate shear panels that have various width-thickness ratios and aspect ratios. This paper was aimed to develop the hysteretic model of unstiffened steel plate shear panels using previous experimental data. Based on experimental results, new hysteretic model was proposed. Hysteretic model was developed by utilizing relationships between four hysteretic characteristics and maximum deformation of previous cycles. The results obtained from the proposed model were compared with those obtained from the Mimura-Akiyama model in this study. |
