Abstract |
Presentation of the space is to show the spatial informations in communicating between designers and users. Until now, ‘the model-house' has been the best way to present spatial information in marketing area for apartment housing. However, a virtual model-house is proposed to deliver those informations to users from the starting point of 2006, for reduction of the cost and the reaction of speculation in real estate. The purpose of this study is to improve and develop the interactivity(for effective communication of spatial information in the WEB) in structuring a virtual model-house. The process of this study is as follow : At first, we survey the properties of web as the media and the methods of the suitable communication of spatial informations through papers. Secondly, we survey on the five technical methods of making virtual model-house and compare the interactive properties of each other through various cases. Forthly, we propose a more interactive virtual model-house. The result of this study presents that there is more appropriate and effective presentation method for various spatial informations according to the difference of characteristics of each media. Concerning webmedia, structuring a virtual reality is the most distinctive presentation method to provide spatial informations in an interactive way. There are 5 representative technical tools for structuring a virtual reality which are Panorama VR, Object VR, VRML/X3D, Cult3D and Turn Tool. They are categorized into two groups, Image based VR and Modeling based VR. It is more appropriate that Image based VR is used for a real material-like presentation and Modeling based VR is efficient to provide a interactive spatial experience, so that both should be embodied at the same time for the best result. Finally this study proposes a more interactive way for a virtual model-house corresponding to the frame of experience in the conventional model-house through the prototype of a model-house, so called the system of 'needs-supply', which can be realized by distributed data processing system satisfying an additional information and event request. |
