Abstract The Open Sapce in the Mixed-use Building operates as the cultural strategy that purposes to strengthen the competitiveness of the building in the city. The purpose of this research is to suggest the direction to increase visitor's of open spaces through the increase of the architectural publicity. The scope of contents of this research is 54 open spaces in the 10 mixed-use buildings in Korea. The research method was as follows: 1) Preparatory study review to extract the elements of architectural publicity 2) Based on the elements of architectural publicity, we make a list for site visit. 3) Through the site visits of 54 open spaces, we fill the list and analyze them with Corelation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this research are as following: 1) Easy accessibility from the outside and being located convenient facilities on the border of open spaces would help visitor's stay and use in open spaces. 2) Keep the space amenity by being natural space nearby, bright lighting plan, and lowering noise to increase visitor's stay in open spaces. 3) The plan to accentuate inner openness like widening spaces also would be valid. 4) Open spaces should be planed as the spaces connecting with commercial spaces along the passages.
