| Abstract |
The aim of this study is to identify key issues and planning goals for sustainable urban regeneration and set the step-by-step model for it. For the purpose of this study, this paper firstly defines sustainable urban regeneration. Secondly, it specifies 12 essential issues of sustainable urban regeneration through reviewing principals and topics from mainly British experiences and domestic research materials. Then, it establishes 38 planning objectives of sustainable urban regeneration through literature reviews and research group debates. For setting the step-by-step model for sustainable urban regeneration, it surveys professionals. Through the analysis of the surveys, it, finally, sets 3-step progress model for sustainable urban regeneration. The results of this study are expected to lay groundwork for step-by-step strategies for sustainable urban redevelopment. |
