Abstract |
Stone pagoda structure is largely classified into three parts such as top, body and stylobate. Specifically, the reduction of stylobate's bearing capacity has great influence on the structural safety of stone pagoda structure because the stylobate is performing the role of foundation. Therefore, this study evaluates the structural safety of stone pagoda according to the layout types of stylobate's jeoksim. These layout types are classified into stacking form, column form+stacking form and rod-like rock column form based on the construction types of stylobate. Also, the soil loss phenomenon of stylobate is applied for the safety analysis of the structure. For the structural modeling and analysis of stylobate part, discontinuum models and discrete element analysis method are considered. |
