Abstract As use of crack repair materials in construction fields, much more research is required to fully investigate the properties of crack repair materials. Restoration of strength properties of crack repaired concrete specimen has been studied. We carried out three-point bend tests on undamaged notched concrete specimens and damaged ones which crack repaired by repair materials according to the crack width, the viscosity of repair material and the curing temperature. Restoration of the specimen was evaluated by means of fracture mechanics parameters such as the fracture energy GF and the bending strength. The bending strength of repaired concrete specimen was proportional to the crack width and curing temperature, and inversely proportional to the viscosity of repair material. The fracture energy of repaired concrete did not monotonously increase with increasing bending strength, and had a tendency of decrease at low curing temperature. Also, it was found that the bending strength of epoxy resin was higher than that of siliceous resin, but the fracture energy of epoxy resin was lower than that of siliceous resin.
