| Abstract |
This study aims to make a basis to define prerequisite items in Green Building Certification Criteria for schools through a comparison between foreign certification criteria(LEED for schools, BREEAM Education) with GBCC and analysis of 64 assessed cases from Korea Institute of Energy Research by green building certification system. GBCC has not contained essential rating factors unlike LEED and BREEAM, thus it has been increased that scoring through the items of easy to acquirement, and it could be lower credibility of certification criteria. Finally, it purposes to improve the assessment indicators of GBCC to incite an active construction and wide spread of environmentally friendly buildings in Korea. |
