| Abstract |
Sound insulation performance is one of essential element of various kinds factor that accomplish amenity of housing life in residential building. Specially, Korean habitat is represented into apartment. it is trend that importance of privacy and noise problem between habitable rooms are emphasized much more in these habitat. This study examines interior drywall system of apartment housings. By studying references and field investigations about interior drywall system of apartment housing, interior drywall system is classified into four large groups; gypsum board, light-weight concrete composite panel, extruded concrete panel, and the others. In addition, The purpose of this study was to evaluate and analyze the acoustic performance of a drywall system through field measurement of airborne sound insulation. It is appeared that sound insulation testing result of gypsum board specimen is superior to others. In case of gypsum board specimen, sound insulation performance is Rw52 for the single-number quantity for airbone sound. |
