Abstract To make up for the shortcomings of the cement mortar, polymer is added to cement type repair mortar as admixture. A series of experiments were carried out according to the parameters of polymer type and temperature. Numerical analysis model based on the FEM was developed to estimate the moisture diffusion coefficient from the inverse sensitivity analysis comparing with the experimental results. All the results can be summarized in the following conclusions. (1) The effects of the polymer cement mortar, which is made to earn the bonding properties, crack resistance, fracture toughness peoperties, and mass transfer resistance, to the moisture diffusion coefficient was not clear. The efficient was SBR30, EVA50, N50, VVA50 in that order. (2) The FEM based numerical model developed in this study can consider the effect of temperature to the moisture diffusion coefficient. (3) The basic moisture diffusion coefficient() under the condition of the saturation of 20℃ was the range from 3.8e-6 m2/s to 6.1e-6 m2/s.
