Abstract |
Input-Output analysis is effectively utilized to estimate the energy consumption and CO2 emission in terms of the building characteristics which are different from the consumer goods. There are some types in estimation of the energy and CO2 emission. Among these estimation methods, it is likely that input-output analysis is most efficient in analysis scope, the required cost and time for estimation as an indirect approach. In this study, it aimed at estimation of the functional unit in energy consumption and CO2 emission in the primary construction materials, using the input-output analysis. Moreover, the direct and indirect functional unit are provided. The direct part is explained in the material input produced only in domestic and the other part is resulted from the material input imported from the foreign country plus the domestic area. The functional unit of the sand and pebbles is 9.49MJ/103won in the direct and indirect energy consumption and 1.1648㎏-CO2/103won. Remicon is respectively 52.31MJ/106won and 6.9798㎏-CO2/103won. In addition, it provided the functional unit of the energy and CO2 emission with other construction materials. |
