| Abstract |
This study aims to determine the feasibility of the officetel to be used as one of the residential type to meet the increasing needs for small-sized residence. Accordingly, through the comparison with other small residential types, the possibility of the officetel to be developed as an residential type is studied. And the general characteristics of residential officetel are seen through analysis of actual practices in commercial & business region in Seoul. According to the results of analysis, the following attributes can be found mostly since 2000, ① The expansion of the private area, ② Changes in the configuration of various size of units and types, ③ Changes in both internal and external space in accordance with the increase of 'Brand Officetel'. Therefore, this study suggests new direction for development of the Residential Officetel considering the regional characteristics such as a commercial & business region. |
