| Abstract |
Shanghai Shikumen Linong Housing had been changed from late 19th century to 20th century. It is representative style of Shanghai Housing, which is related with chinese traditional space concept. The purpose of this study is to suggest basic documents to plan the outdoor space of Shanghai Housing through analysis of characteristic of territorial expression in outdoor space of Shanghai Shikumen Linong Housing based on china traditional space concept. A method of study, first the elements of Territory is redefined to four kinds of characteristic through analysis of previous study. Second each space of shanghai shikumen Linong Housing is analyzed into the redefined the characteristic of Territoriality. The results show that, the methods of shikumen Linong Housing in the area of external space performance , although there have been some changes, but basically according to traditional Chinese architecture with the performance of the field line. In this paper, by demonstrating to the Chinese traditional concept of space in the area of performance-based method, basic information of residential buildings in Shanghai of external space which are developing provided. |
