Abstract |
CW(Construction wastes) amount is increasing as building or structure construction industry is growing. So many countries make efforts to reduce and recycle CW. Some advanced countries are adopting SDM(separating dismantlement method) to reuse CW for economic advantage and we also need to make the system for SDM. This study is the comparative analysis on labor number, demolition time, the classes and the quantity of CW between UDM(usual demolition method) and SDM of the building interior for educational institute by field investigation. The results of research are as follows. The amount of CW by UDM was increased to 55% and that by SDM was increased to 65% comparing with calculating amount by a drawing. The generation weight of CW per square meter is 29.78kg/m2 in the case of SDM and 17.07kg/m2 in the case of UDM. The demolition time is 7 hour and 58minutes and the 27.5 man·hour in the case of SDM and 3 hours and 5minutes and 11.24 man·hour in the case of UDM. The total man·hour/generation weight of CW is 0.92 in the case of SDM, which is 1.4 times higher than 0.66 in the case of UDM This means SDM needs higher expense. But if the value of reuse and recycling CW is considered, involving landfill tax, SDM would be more economical than UDM. |
