Abstract |
Indoor air quality was got from an interest gradually. Indoor air pollution in a newly built apartment building is known by the causes largest that Formaldehyde and VOCs flowed out at all kinds of building materials. Building materials are composed of very complex chemical compounds which discharge very much Formaldehyde and VOCs. In this study, we focused on the emission rate of HB Mark(Healthy Building Material mark) labelling building materials. Formaldehyde and TVOC, VOCs emission rate of 52 materials were determined. Validation of small chamber method to determine emission rate of HB Mark labelling building material was done an analysis. On the basis of the measurement results achieved, we can compared HB Mark grade of a product and results that we measured. They were not mostly matched. So we was unreliable to HB Mark grade of a product. In the present case of TVOC, detected VOCs is the subject of the study range from n-hexane to n-hexadecane, and there is a somewhat discrepancy with a practice hazard material due to converted total sum of each toluenes. So, it is needed to make a plan to regulate emission intensity of hazardous material individually that is detected a large amount except for non-hazardous or rarely detectable materials. |
