Abstract |
This study investigates the effect of natural period, strain-hardening ratios, post-capping stiffness ratios, ductility, yield-strength reduction factor, and damping ratios on inelastic displacement ratio ( ) of peak-oriented SDF systems located at the sites classified as NEHRP site class B, C and D. Since equations for have been proposed for bilinear systems, it is difficult to estimate for the systems having hysteretic properties with strength and stiffness deterioration, and effects. This study conducts nonlinear regression analysis for proposing a equation. the proposed equation is consisted for calculating 16%, 50%, and 84% inelastic displacement ratio for peak-oriented SDF systems. |
