| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to research healthcare with smart technology in a bathroom. Recently, a bathroom in a house has been increasingly emphasized not only as a space for physiology and hygienics but also as a space for leisure and healthcare. The smart-healthcare system consists of test equipments that continuously measure the health status of a patient in a house, as well as a network and server equipments that remotely transmit detected information to enable the status of a patient monitored by a doctor. It is necessary to develop the bathroom design with various purposes in healthcare and with the change of people's need for the healthcare, which will be the major issues at smart bathroom design with smart-healthcare. Therefore, this study suggests bathroom designs comprised of the architectural options and bathroom functions with smart-healthcare systems to satisfy various users' needs. |
