| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the architectural restoration theories and works and suggest a planning directions and consideration points for the architectural restoration. This study is consisted of four areas as followings: The first part, as a theoretical study, reviews the research method of this study. The second part, the concept of time and the principal caratheristics of architectural restoration and its scope. The third part, focalizes the changes of modern architectural restoration concepts after 19th century. The last part, as a field planning, analyses the characteristics ofl restoration planning and architecture. The result of analytical reviews is synthesized and used to suggest the major strategies and guidances for the future of architectural restoration in terms of physical, socio-cultural, and institutional aspects under consideration of actual situations. |
