| Abstract |
BIM(Building Information Modeling) is considered a new paradigm and a powerful method in building design, construction and maintenance. However, it is still hard to implement environmental performance analysis using BIM in early design stages. This study aims to reveal practical problems and evaluate interoperability between building design information and performance analysis through case studies. A new approach is suggested in this paper, which can be used in various design stages. This XML based interface is flexible and process centric. A prototype is demonstrated in this paper. |
