Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan of mixed use complex development as centered on the method of building mixed use and the revitalization of walking space inside the spatial structure system of city and architecture. For this, a method of assembling mixed use and a way of facility disposition against 8 complexes in Korea and Japan have been analyzed on the sides of gathering customers and spatial structure. And It was analyzed the connection between spatial composition and moving line system and spatial structure against street space, exterior space, and interior space as a walking space. The results of this study were as follows; the facility and the formation of gathering customer in the mixed use complex development are subordinate to city, the urban spatial structure and exterior space and interior space are not connected, has the limit to be designed to ‘complex type’ with a closed spatial structure which is not connected with urban spatial structure. Therefore, the new mixed use complex development in the future should dispose a stereoscopic and strategic facility based on the understanding of role and gathering customer of each facilities on the complex, and should be designed as ‘an urban type’ in which the spatial structure of a urban street is connected with interior and exterior space. |
