| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to suggest the urban town-house as a new housing type in a grid residential area. It finds a realizable device of Block Unit Development Model adopting the concept of the urban town-house, and proposes the prototype from the aspect of the urban scale to each building unit. In addition, it seeks an implementation scheme of the Block Unit Development Model by comparing the feasibility with conventional apartment reconstruction projects. The scheme is suggested in two parts: public projects implemented by the public sector and incentive programs for the inducement to the private sector. Finally, the paper gives the direction of the Block unit development Model. |
