Abstract |
This paper identified whether Garosu-gil and Samcheongdong-gil are revitalized and what factors have been contributed to their revitalization as reviewing the present and past of those districts. This study looked into the activation of both districts using documentation, field survey, interviews, and questionnaire. The analysis found the importance of affordable rent, distinctive image of the area, commercial facilities combined with cultural assets, agglomeration of specialized functions, and contiguousness to already activated areas as non-physical factors. Also, unique landscape assets with human scale were considered important in the physical aspect. |
