Abstract In this paper, strength correction and heat curing method of the concrete subjected to cold weather was studied based on Korean Architectural Standard Specification(KASS) and Japanese Architectural standard specification(JASS). KASS stipulates that a strength correction based on water to cement ratio correction is to be considered to compensate strength retardation due to low temperature. Hence, the concrete with 24 MPa of design strength supposed to be applied is modified to 27 MPa based on KASS. For preparing heat curing method, combination of heat supplying and heat insulation method with double layer bubble sheet was selected to gain economical profit. According to JASS, the application of the method mentioned above makes the heat loss reduced by as much as 35% and thereby, more than 30% of heat supply apparatus was reduced. Field test indicated that the concrete with 27 MPa exceeded target design strength of 24 MPa at 28days, which is shorter than designed control age 42 days.
