Abstract |
Since the finishing materials of the concrete slabs in the indoor parking area which emit environmentally contaminated substance above standard level had been restricted by the law for the indoor air quality management, there has been increased interests in the usage of the cement based mortar as a surface finishing materials of the indoor parking slab. The present paper aims to find the possibility of the 2-Ingredients thin film type cement based mortar as a surface finishing materials of the indoor parking slab, satisfying the standard of KS F 4937(Surface finishing material for parking slab) which regulate the acceptance testing method for the resistance-wheel moving load when it is constructed within around the 1.0mm of thickness. The developed surface material is made with the varied component ratio of both content of white portland cement(WPC) and redispersible polymer powder(RPP). Tests on the flexural strength, compression strength and resistance-wheel moving load have been carried out. The results of the experiments show that there is no correlation between the resistance-wheel moving load and the single value of flexural strength and compression strength. It is also revealed that most of test results are satisfying the standard of KS F 4937 when flexural-compressive strength ratio is within the range of 0.40 to 0.45. It is concluded that there is close correlation between the resistance-wheel moving load and the flexural-compressive strength ratio. |
