Abstract The purpose of this study is its geographical order through the analysis of the natural geographical environment in Hahoe Village. Hahoe Village is the most representative historic village in Korea, belong to Andong area. This study aims at finding characteristics of its geographical features by the way of slope and drainage. Finally this study examines characteristics of the structure of its road and the location of its house by characteristics of its geographical features. Through the study, it is maintained that characteristics of geographical features are very important to determine the prospect of architecture. Its geographical environment is Hwasan and the productive areas of rice paddies, Village, Hwacheon. Its branch of geography passes from Hwasan to the productive areas of rice paddies, the next it was divided into several branch in the village. Its geographical features is the ridge and valley and an inclined plane by the branch of geography. The village and houses is on there. The village streets are along the ridge and valley and an inclined plane. Because houses were located at an inclined plane or the ridge, it is maintained that the slope direction are very important to determine the prospect of houses. Therefore the prospect of houses is not on the same string. And the houses was located at the front of the branch of geography or actively on there.
