Abstract |
The objective this study was to verify the influence of building materials on indoor source of pollution in house compared the value of measurement to simulation. It went off that measured VOC(benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, xylene, styrene, 5VOC) and formaldehyde and investigated the source of pollution for 5 houses. Then VOC and formaldehyde concentration was predicted by using the double exponential model, and the data for simulation get it through the small chamber test with building materials(wallpaper, wooden flooring). As a results, VOC and Formaldehyde concentration in house showed the reduction tendency for the periods from summer to autumn precisely. The simulation was predicted that VOC concentration was a higher and formaldehyde concentration was a lower or same levels compared to measured values. This means that the formaldehyde concentration had a effect on the characteristic of building materials and VOC concentration was the result of effective pollution sources occurred irregularly on real-life in house. |
