Abstract Ministry of education science and technology have a plan to do variation type in middle and high schools from 2010. But we do not have a specific guide line of planning or managements in variation type school buildings yet. Moving pattern of between variation type classroom will be change by school time schedules and space moving structure and also character of students. It is very necessery to understand students moving pattern and to have a data of detailed moving pattern types. The aim of this study is to propose a fundamental guide line of students space moving pattern of variation type in middle school buildings. The main process contents of study is as follows : 1) Architectural outline of investigate middle school buildings 2) Analysis of space moving pattern from tracing survey between time schedules 3) Classification of students moving pattern 4) Analysis of character space using of students.
