| Abstract |
As you know, Korea entered an aging society in 2000 and progressing toward aged society faster than any other OECD countries. In addition, Parents generation doesn't want to live with their children for old age anymore. In this situation, it is very important to serve suitable housing for this aging population. It is purpose of this paper to understand on the present condition of Korea elderly housing and consider the important design factors for the urban welfare housing for the elderly. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the distance to hospital and subway station is the most important factors in a geographical conditions. Second, most of all show 46% in exclusive area ratio and 3.7m X 9.0m minimum basic module in unit plan. Third, in general, Most of the facilities design 99-1159㎡ unit plan more than others. Fourth, the survey shows swimming & health facilities are most wanted of all other factors. |
