The original plans and current use charts for the two districts before and after project completion were compared, and on-site observations were conducted to analyze the current status of the sidewalk spaces and the usage patterns of such physical planned elements as street furniture. From the perspective of urban design, the current statuses of the urban spaces comprising the streets in question were analyzed; from the perspective of street space design, the physical planned elements and their usage behavior were analyzed, and the results have been categorized into types. By verifying the implementation of the project plans, investigating the current use of the project areas, and evaluating the results, this study has categorized the problems affecting the usage of the streets and street furniture in question, and proposed key considerations and improvements to be reflected in the planning of similar projects. |
