Abstract The objective of this research was to apply the source model based on difference of emissions pattern emitted from building material such as MDF(Medium Density Fiberboard) and wallpaper. The formaldehyde source models were used to First-order decay model and Double-exponential decay model. The test was carried out at 4 specimens which were in a different temperature 25℃, 35℃ by using small chamber system. Formaldehyde was sampled and analyzed by HPLC. The results of this study were as follows; 1) The emission pattern of formaldehyde from MDF and wallpaper differed depending on formaldehyde content in materials and difference to temperature. 2) Prediction of formaldehyde emissions from source model make a difference according to emission pattern of formaldehyde.
