Abstract |
The domestic construction industry has problems such as old aging of construction workers, the imbalance between supply and demand, reduced labor productivity, requirement of improving quality and safety, deterioration of payability by rising wages and competition among construction companies. To solve these problems and achieve global competitiveness in construction industry, Korea government has invested financial resources in construction automation and development of robot technology since early 2000s. However, field requirements and demand analysis have not been performed properly in construction automation and development of robot technology so that practical examples of developed construction automation equipments are very little. In this research, targeted automation works are selected by surveying and analyzing research and previously developed construction automation equipments, drew priority of targeted automation works based on filed demands. This research suggests a technology roadmap framework for effective development of construction automation and robot. |
