Abstract In Space Syntax, the mathematical process used to get integration could be restrictive in understanding spatial configuration since it is based on only one behavioral model. The connectivity and control are also limited in utilization because they are much localized index. In this study, the relationship between integration and behavioral model will be discussed and the probability analysis model will be developed using another behavioral model to figure out the distribution, which is the movement of people in constructed space, by extending the concepts of connectivity and control. Furthermore, the new index, PA3, will be suggested via broad extension of connectivity and control. The usefulness of probability analysis model for estimating the amount of traffic will be validated through the actual application to a large commercial complex and a museum to get the amount of traffic and comparison of each analysis index.
