Abstract |
This study classified the shapes of roof eaves curves with wooden architectures of gambrel roof having five kans more, analyzed the influential factors on the eaves curves and examined the features of formative design of roof eaves curves. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, distribution of curve-proportions was 3bay's 1/250∼1/80, 5bay's 1/90~1/60 and they were ranged from maximum 0.1 to minimum 0.002 and generally weaker than the buildings with hipped-and-gable roof. Second, eaves-curve of the buildings examined can be divided into four types. Third, it was found through correlation analysis that corner high column(0.940), height of Galmosanbang (0.932), flat column(0.932), height of wall(0.657) and height of roof(0.613) were influential factors on the formation of eaves curve. |
