Abstract |
The present paper is to suggest limit an optimal insulation curing method according to conditions of ambient temperature and change of surface curing material of cold weather concrete As a result of comparatively analyzing insulation performance by surface curing material according to change of ambient temperature conditions, when more than double layer bubble sheets are used in constant and alternating temperature conditions, it could be confirmed that it is more superior in temperature history or accumulated temperature of concrete than vinyl+nonwoven fabric being used as the existing insulation material. But it appeared that although the accumulation of sheets increases in combination of more than double sheets, there is no big difference in temperature history. However, because all curing materials including bubble sheet didn't show insulation performance in an extremely low temperature environment of -15℃, it appeared that additional curing measures such as heat insulation curing, etc. are necessary, so it was reviewed that when considering the temperature history, strength properties and economic aspect, the double layer bubble sheet is an optimal method. It could be known that the compressive strength of concrete core specimens drops as its curing temperature falls, and it appeared that the strength value is superior when more than double bubble sheets were used by surface curing material. |
