Abstract |
In this paper, along with the Heinrich Wolfflin's theory of style, I pursuit the meaning of the mutuality between the modern and contemporary architecture. Wolfflin argued that the style of the West has been advanced with the classic and the baroque alternately, through the relationship between renaissance and baroque style. I suggest these antipodes also work in the mutuality of the modern and contemporary architecture. Through this discussion, in this thesis, I present the perspective on the direction of the contemporary architecture. |
