Abstract The importance of green building design is steadily increasing, with the environmental problem rising as a new paradigm. The purpose of this study is to systematic the approach and constituent design elements of integrated design process that is the basic environment to use BIM as green building design tools from the early design stage. As a result of studying on the basis of reference books, preceded studies and the results of the interview with some related experts, the 22 design elements of green building that should be decided in the early design stage were established and divided into five parts. Also, the structure of integrated design process for Green BIM to use at the early design stage on the basis of the outline of green building design process was established with four stages. And, the systematization of integrated design process for Green BIM was achieved by the combination of established structure and related design elements for green building.
