Abstract Recently, the construction of high-rise building is internationally increasing. Generally high-rise buildings have relatively shorter construction duration per floor than non-high rise buildings and consequently, there are many schedule delay factors while constructing the high-rise building, especially in the Curtain-Wall work which should control many materials using new construction method. So the systematic management plan to eliminate these risk factors related to the schedule delay is needed. This study proposes a method of identifying the main risk factors on the Curtain Wall work delay of the high-rise building construction based on the FMEA(Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) Method. to predict the parts which has potential to be a problem and also proposes a process to decrease the risk to prepare for it in advance.
