Abstract |
This study aims at proposing the extended application of the of various types of apartment building and its possibility of the advanced application to PUD planning. Even in these days apartment buildings are major types of development. To select the new types of apartment building for this study were filtered out of 3 new towns such as Eunpyeong, Pangyo and Dongtan. 11 out of 14 apartment building types were used in this study. But 3 were discarded because these were not satisfying in the matter of daylight in its' building itself. By applying sunshade theory to the 11 types of apartment building it was revealed that the daylight satisfactory azimuth angle of complex are getting narrower than the single building. And finally when we apply the PUD in apartment complex, it was advantageous to use the sunshade theory to apply to PUD planning. |
