Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze space usage and needs for improvement in university facilities by students with disabilities. The study collected data from 17 students who were physically, visually handicapped or hearing-impaired persons by in-depth interview. The major finding of the study were as follows : using rate and satisfaction level of university facilities varied depending types of disability. The blind had the lowest satisfaction level and the physical disabled were second lowest. It would be required to improve the design of directional sign and to establish rules for its position. Moreover it should be improved equipment as like increasing the quantity of electrical outlet and furniture like desk and chair in the classroom. Also, basically accessibility to all facilities and rooms for students with disabilities is guaranteed. Finally, new functions and programs have to be added to gymnasium and health room in order to help the disabled lead active lives.
