Abstract |
This study analyzes the structural characteristics and load transfer mechanism according to the construction types of stylobate and body part of the typical traditional stone pagoda structure. To this end, the construction and structural types are compared between two typical stone pagodas in the Goseon-sa and Jeongnim-sa temple sites. Also, the discontinuum structural modelling and discrete element analysis are performed in order to analyze the structural behaviors of stylobate and body part, and the resonable constitutive models of block and joint are considered. Especially, the structural characteristics and safety according to the construction types of stone pagodas are verified through the comparisons of stress and displacement distributions between the discrete elements of stylobate and body part. |
