Abstract |
The government to resolve disparities between local governments because of the rapid economic growth has taken various policies such as the administrative city and innovative city. Main topics of the recent urban development can be summarized as the sustainable city, the ubiquitous city, and the self-sufficient city. In this study, the self-sufficient city development in Korea's key success factors were derived and the causal loop diagram was constructed using these key factors to check the interaction between elements of the self-sufficient city development. In addition, system dynamics model was developed for the comprehensive quantitative analysis of the urban development of self-sufficiency and multi-functional administrative city development policies using a system dynamics model was simulated. As a result, industry, housing, services, facilities, and education and welfare facilities are related to the growth of the city but influenced in different ways. In the case of the multi-functional administrative city, the limitation of the number of companies due to the proportion of industrial land had an impact on the city's population growth and policies from investments in various sectors confirmed the population growth from increasing rate of industrial land. |
