| Abstract |
Buseoksa Muryangsujeon was built some time between the 9th and 11th Centuries. It was given various construction features such as stone lanterns, stone towers, and the Muryangsujeon, and it was well-known to reflect the doctrine of Hwaumjong. In the result of analyzing the meaning of each construction feature, and studying the history of Buddhism, it seems more correct to say that it the response of Hwaumjong against the growth of Seonjong rather than saying that it reflected the doctrine of Hwaumjong. |
