Abstract |
Because the deflection and the crack width of RC flexural members are influenced by the bond-slip properties between concrete and reinforcing bar, it is very important to consider the bond-slip relationship for the prediction of the deflection and crack width under the serviceability limit state. In this study, the bond tension test was conducted to investigate the relationship between bond stress and slip of the high strength RC flexural member at the stabilized crack stage. The variables are the concrete compressive strength (24, 60, 80 MPa), and diameter of reinforcing bar (D13, D16). As a result, when the concrete strength increased, and diameter of reinforcing bar decreased, the bond strength increased, and it was confirmed that the bond properties by pull-out test is barely suitable for predicting of behavior of flexural members at the stabilized crack stage. |
