Abstract The purpose of this study is to develop a method for analyzing/evaluating quantitatively barrier-free performance of building. It is based on quantitative standards which are ‘Movement’ and ‘Activity’ in a building, ‘(activity) time’ of the disabled( physically challenged person/person who is visually impaired) and able-people. To analyze movement and activity time of users, building information is constructed by node-link model. 1st grade barrier-free building was evaluated by analyzing space activity time(restroom activity time) and movement speed. In case of the subject building, it was judged that movement and activity handicap of disabled people could be decreased lower than 10% by using 1st floor according to building activity program. Decreasing space handicap by mixing disabled and ordinary people could be applied as an important factor that decrease relative deprivation of disability. Also, barrier-free evaluation of identical purpose building could be performed by ‘activity and movement time of building’
