Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze Characteristics of ecological contemporary architecture. The Ecological designing emphasizes the harmony with the ecology, putting natural elements in the planing process, which can make natural formation progresses be considered. It can also be called a "Humanized space" because the activities of human are made within the environment, relecting the space and meanings of activities resulting from human culture. In constructing an architectural environment which becomes the place of living, thus, space designing must aim to be an ecological one which follows the economic order of the nature, organically integrating it to the natural ecology. Five principle that draw at ecological design conceptualization process, whole unity, Variety of organic at ecological design conceptualization process, Circularity, Homeostasis, Allness, Biological evolution, Diversity has involved with concept that present in ecological esthetics and organic property of ecosystem. And, In Matter of ecological design expression tehdency in contemporary architecture analyzed as seeing aesthetic aspect through frame of conceptualization.
