| Abstract |
Recently, indoor air quality (IAQ) is one of the hottest problems in public buildings. Even though PC Room is popular facility where the young students stay long with playing computer games and Web-searching in Korea, the indoor air quality is not well maintained for the occupants health. In this study, indoor contamination levels have been measured in 27 different facilities of PC rooms and also the questionnaire survey of maintenance activities has been performed simultaneously by facility manager. The purpose of this study is to provide the chracteristics of IAQ levels in the PC rooms and analyse to identify the status and aims to provide sofisticate method to retrofit for the improvement IAQ levels. As a result, 96 percentage of PC Room, the mechanical ventilation systems is installed and 44 percent air cleaners is installed. As the following measuring result, contaminant of concentrations at the PC Rooms measured are against the regulations which CO2 by 9%, PM10 by 67%, TVOC by 33%, HCHO by 37% and 7% for TBC was measured. |
