Abstract |
This paper analyze widely-used evacuation simulation program, set up major factors and investigate the impacts by the factors to consider a weak person of disaster factor for safety assessment of evacuation simulation. This paper also aims to establish criteria of safety for the disabled on evacuation. The results show that the evacuation time increases an average of 12.07 seconds as numbers of weak people increase, and revealed greater rate of increase in evacuation time as walking speed is slower. The velocity factors' variation had little influence on the results and the impact of rate change can be classified largely in less 2%, 3-10% and 11% more. Each category presents a significant contrast as the factors changes, For further research, verification by evacuation simulations and quantitative analysis such as various walking speeds for types of disability are needed. |
