Abstract This study aims to develop the simulation environment using virtual space which is popular to the game industry for the performance evaluation of designed alternatives. We propose a method which can minimize the time and effort for the preparation of the simulation in the virtual space as well as use AI(Artificial Intelligence). Especially, this research focuses on the transition of BIM-based design results to the navigation graph which can be used with AI in the virtual space. In order to realize our idea, we developed a navigation graph generation module using SDK(software development kit) of Revit Architecture with C# as a kind of plug-in module. In the end of paper, we test the navigation graph which is generated by gameBIM which is developed by us with PathFinder which is a kind of game engine to perform AI.
