Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to characterize the hygrothermal properties of building materials for evaluation of hygrothermal conditions in buildings. The constructed hygrothermal properties database included 5 basic properties(bulk density, porosity, specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity, water vapour diffusion resistance factor) and 1 optional property(moisture storage function) of 7 domestic building materials(concrete, gypsum board, ceiling board, insulation, particle board, wallpaper, hanji). HAM(Heat, Air and Moisture) simulation was also conducted using the constructed hygrothermal properties database to evaluate the difference with monitored data in a case study. |
