Abstract |
This study is about a process to communicate exhibits and exhibition information for people visiting museum. In this study, it was explained the relationship with visitors dividing the structure of exhibits according to the form of beginning and ending for viewing exhibits. The constitutive laws of the beginning and the ending the exhibits have can be explained by the binding power on the holding power that holds the visitors at the exhibits. Furthermore, exhibition information transfer process of visitors who were given the exhibition information from exhibits was cognitive psychologically analyzed. The visitors collect the exhibition information through the human senses such as sight, hearing, touch, sense of balance, taste and smell etc.. However, the characteristic of the information collected is characterized according to the feature of each human sense. Even though the information is collected in different process, all information is handled dividing into Spatial codes and Verbal codes (Wickens (1980, 1984)) and encoding external environment information by the human recognition system. Like this, the exhibition information reacts through the automatic or optional process. Through these features, this study is to explain the structural relationship of the visitor’s attitude towards the exhibits that can occur in accepting the exhibition information of the exhibits. This dissertation can be used as a base information to plan the efficient exhibition while clearly understanding the characteristics of the intended exhibition information transfer process on planning exhibition and visitors. |
